Description
It's not Mario's original colours, but it is inspired by the tall mushroom levels in the first Super Mario Bros game. This is the first Mario picture ive tried drawing, and i think it turned out great 
i hadnt drawn Mario before because his games are really dear to me, like most people i grew up playing Mario. Drawing a picture that wouldent be good enough wouldent be an option. (same goes to Mega Man) But as my artwork advances, so do the games i choose to draw. Soon, Zelda, Megaman, and other beloved franchises of mine will be drawn to life.

I agree it turned out great! Really do know and respect your idea on wanting to make sure something you draw is as nice to you as your own love and care for the original works themselves! I think that has often detoured me from drawing my own non-pixelated fan art. Great work though and I do mean it! This stage was always one of my main favorites and I really enjoy your version of Mario and the composition.
